By accessing this web site, you are agreeing to be bound by these web site Terms and Conditions of Use, all applicable laws and regulations, and agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site. The materials contained in this web site are protected by applicable copyright and trade mark law.

2. Use License

Permission is granted to temporarily download one copy of the materials (information or software) on Marketplace.tf's web site for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:
1. modify or copy the materials;
2. use the materials for any commercial purpose, or for any public display (commercial or non-commercial);
3. attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software contained on Marketplace.tf's web site;
4. remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials; or

9. Customer Limitations

As a user of marketplace.tf, you agree that you will not:

Perform any action that will intentionally result in Marketplace.tf charging an incorrect amount for an order
Circumvent the security of the website in any way
Allow an error in the bots (such as receiving an extra item) to occur without notifying Marketplace.tf
Perform a charge back in any form after purchasing items from Marketplace.tf and successfully receiving them
Use scripts, bots, extensions, automation, external tools, or any other methods to gain an advantage over other users
Use multiple or alternate accounts to access Marketplace.tf, either when buying or selling
Forge or modify evidence (such as screenshots) when contacting support

10. Refunds

Refunds will be provided in the following instances only:

When, due to site error, the items a customer ordered are incapable of being delivered
When, due to site error, the items a customer ordered were vastly different than described.
When the user has failed to receive their items after 6 months.

Refunds for expirable items will not be provided when the user fails to pick them up in time. We prevent orders with said items 2 days before their expiration.

In instances where a refund is processed, and the user has possession of some or all of the items in question, the user must return the items before the refund will be granted. The eligibility of an order for a refund is entirely up to the opinion of Marketplace.tf

11. Site Bans

Marketplace.tf reserves the right to remove a user's access to the website for any reason. Marketplace.tf is not obligated to provide the reason for denial of access to the user.

11.1 Charge Back Appeals

Appealing charge-backs will incur an administrative fee, along with the repayment of any charge-backed orders. Bans can be appealed through our support system.

12. Purchases

In an instance where a user pays for an item or items where the order is viewed as legitimate in the opinion of Marketplace.tf, and the payment goes through, the user is entitled to either the full amount of items purchased or a full refund, despite any other site terms the user may have broken.

13. Privacy

Marketplace.tf will never share your contact or payment details with an outside source except as required by law, as required for business operations, or to send official Marketplace.tf promotional information. In such an event, an opt-out link will always be present to refuse any further promotional material from Marketplace.tf.

14. Identity Verification

When and if you upload documents to Marketplace.tf for the purpose of verifying your identity, you grant us a permanent, non-revocable license to view, share, copy, modify, delete, and otherwise manipulate the uploaded documents. We will only share these documents with persons and organizations directly related to the dispute process, including, but not limited to, PayPal, Stripe, any bank associated with a chargeback or dispute, and any federal agency, should the law require.

15. Selling Items

When you trade ("upload") items to a Marketplace.tf-controlled Steam Account ("bot"), you agree that those items are now the joint property of Marketplace.tf and yourself. We can and will sell these items on your behalf, at a price you determine. When we have sold an item on your behalf, you will be credited the value of the item as it was sold for into your Site Credit ("credit"), minus our commission. Items stored in Marketplace.tf bots are under the control of Valve Corporation, and are subject to their terms and conditions. If for any reason Valve Corporation revokes Marketplace.tf's access to our bots, Marketplace.tf cannot guarantee access to your items, but we will do our best to retrieve them.

16. Payouts

You may exchange your credit for $USD at a 1:1 exchange rate. Payouts are made through PayPal and Bank transfers (via Routable); an inability on your part to create a PayPal or bank (and by extension Routable) account or to receive them is considered your responsibility.

17. Emails

We will, from time to time, send you emails directly relating to actions on your account; including, but not limited to, order status, email address verification, card verification, and item sales.
Should you choose to opt-in to receiving marketing emails from us, we may, from time to time, send you emails directly relating to Marketplace.tf or ScrapTF (https://scrap.tf) services. At any time, you may change your preferences regarding marketing emails.
